Mr. Dao Song Duc is a legal expert with over 10 years of experience in legal research and consultancy, especially in the field of intellectual property and international law. With a solid academic background, including a Bachelor of Automation Engineering and a Bachelor of Laws, he also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, which enhances his professional capabilities and in-depth understanding of international law.
During his career, Mr. Dao Song Duc has accumulated valuable experience through roles at legal research institutions, including the Vietnam Institute for Legislative Studies and international law firms, where he specialized in researching and drafting legal documents, advising on intellectual property, and participating in the development of legal projects related to national legal reform and development.
With significant contributions to international projects and organizations such as UNDP, USAID, and UNICEF, Mr. Dao Song Duc has helped government agencies and businesses build effective legal policies and strategies, and protect the interests of inventors and businesses in the fields of intellectual property.
Mr. Duc holds a Bachelor of Automation Engineering from the University of Transport (2006-2011), a Bachelor of Laws from the Hanoi Law University (2013-2016), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia in 2019.
With over 10 years of experience in the legal field, Mr. Duc has been deeply involved in legal research, intellectual property, and legal consultancy. He started his career at the Vietnam Institute for Legislative Studies, where he contributed to legal reforms and supported members of parliament. He continued his career at the same institute as Assistant to the President, assisting in drafting legal documents and connecting with international partners.
- In addition to his legal research, Mr. Duc also has practical experience through roles such as Legal Intern at Asia Law, where he focused on intellectual property, and as a Volunteer Legal Lecturer at Life Project for Youth (LP4Y).
Mr. Duc’s work in legal research and legislative drafting, combined with his international experience from studying in Australia, has equipped him with excellent research, legal reporting, and in-depth legal advice skills. He is an expert in the field of intellectual property, especially in trademark management, and has worked with many international organizations such as UNDP, USAID, and UNICEF.
Mr. Duc holds an IELTS score of 7.5 and certificates in Policy Research and Analysis and Regulatory Impact Assessment from USAID/VNCI.
