Founder & Director
Mr. Tran Quang Phuong is the Founder and Director of Tran&Tran IP Law Firm.
With over 28 years of in-depth experience in the field of intellectual property law, he is known for his solid expertise in dispute resolution and management of patent-related complaints. Mr. Tran Quang Phuong has extensive experience in patent registration at the Hanoi Intellectual Property Office and handling intellectual property disputes under the Vietnamese legal system.
As an active member of many prestigious domestic and international associations such as the Vietnam Intellectual Property Association (VIPA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), the International Intellectual Property Protection Association (AIPPI), the International Federation of Intellectual Property Lawyers (FICPI), the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association (ASEAN IPA), and the International Association of Industrial Businessmen (IABL), Mr. Tran Quang Phuong always updates and applies the most advanced knowledge and skills in the industry.
Mr. Tran Quang Phuong graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Hanoi National University in 1996 and received a Master’s degree in Materials Science from the International Institute for Materials Science, a program sponsored by the Dutch government in 1998. In 2003, he was granted a certificate to practice as a patent attorney according to the standards of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP).
He has also attended many international training courses on industrial property law for patent professionals in leading Asian countries such as Korea, Singapore and Japan, giving him a global perspective and a deep understanding of diverse legal systems.
