Patent Specialist – Patent and Industrial Design Department
Mr Dau Minh Hoang is a young and promising specialist in the field of patent and industrial design, possessing an outstanding academic background and outstanding scientific thinking ability. Before attending university, Hoang was a student majoring in Chemistry, receiving thorough training in analytical thinking, logic and scientific research methods – important factors in processing technical documents of inventions.
Mr Dau graduated from the Diplomatic Academy with a good degree, and achieved IELTS 8.0, which helps him to read, understand and analyze technical documents in English accurately. This is a great advantage when approaching international patents and working in a legal environment with foreign elements.
At the Patent and Industrial Design Department, Mr Dau Minh Hoang is responsible for tasks such as: searching for inventions, supporting the construction of technical descriptions, reviewing protection points, preparing documents to submit to the National Office of Intellectual Property, monitoring the application progress, and supporting the drafting of response letters, amending or supplementing documents as required. Thanks to his background in Chemistry and good technical thinking, Hoang is especially strong in handling patent applications in the fields of chemistry, materials technology and related engineering fields.
